Mike tries to Ramble

Crud, I have a stomach-ache. >.>

Okay, so, blog time: I told DC I was going to finish this post today, so I intend to do it. THUS, you have to shut up, sit down and read through my blathering nonsense. It might be GOOD nonsense, or BAD nonsense, notwithstanding, but it's still nonsense.

So, buckle up and get ready to puke-- I mean, WHEEEEE~! 8D

I've started reading up on A Clash of Kings by Gearge R.R. Martin. It's like, part of the A Song of Fire and Ice saga, and I LOOOOVE fantasy novels.

Dem be good inspiration for me DMin' and roleplayin', if ya got me sayin', mon. I'm about 5 chapters in and so far, so good.

The only thing that IRKs me (not Orks, or Orcs. Dem be completely diff'r'nt speeshis, mon) is the fact that the POV of the story switches EVERY chapter~ We start off as some watchman dude who goes out to the snowy wilderness, then the story turns to the bastard son of a ruling duke or something THEEEN, after that chapter, we go to the duchess's POV like it didn't even matter that I wanted to know what happened to the puppies~!

CONFUSED MIKE IS CONFUSED @.@;;

Oh, and Video Games.

I've started work on my own Visual Novel.
No, it's not done yet.
No, you can't see what's happening to it.
No, it won't contain erotica or any form of nudity... Yet.

I'm entitling it as Amalgam: Something Something, the Something of Something. It's basically set in a medieval/steampunk universe wherein metallurgy, alchemy and magic have mixed together and you, as the no name protagonist, must venture out into the world to find your fame and fortune.

Basically, it'll run like a Choose Your Own Adventure book.

I've also returned to my roots by playing a bit The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Why? Mainly because it was on sale at Steam, so I chucked my pirated copy away and got it. Simple enough~ After installing it, with all the DLCs, and expansions (including Shivering Isle), I, no doubtedly proceeded to mod the damn thing like there was no tomorrow.
I went on TESNexus and downloaded everything I could see.
I installed custom meshes and textures, custom maps, custom armor, custom UIs, custom cities, custom weather, custom rings and magical items, custom weapons and the likes. I ramped the thing from being a tiny 5 gig install to near double with all my customizations.

Want to see my character?
I've got you in my sights.

Pretty, ain't she? I love sneaking and stabbing games, so, she's built like an assassin~ With the throbbing cleavage and everything.

Oh, and Anime.
What's really funny is that I've been watching a metric-tonne of anime, but I haven't been able to update this blog properly... because I've been watching anime. NYAHAHAHAHA. So, here, I have ONE thing to share/teach you fellows.

Spice & Wolf: Anthromorphic wolf diety follows a merchant around in his bartering travels. Expect a lot of economics talk and under-the-table deus-ex-machina. Oh, and SEBUN APURS ON A WITCHES TREE~

OH AND DON'T WATCH AN ANIME CALLED "BOKU."
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Oh, and MAGIC THE GATHERING

If you people haven't noticed yet, you can download printable life counters over at our download section. You should grab them while you still can. Seriously, Imageshack might just throw them away somewhere.
Not so bad, right?

In anycase, I also included here a copy of my T2 or Standard deck for people who are wondering what I'm running.

So, basically, the deck is pretty straightforward, since, hey: it's a RB deck. It makes use of the 2 Megrims in the format, Liliana's Caress and Megrim. Having 2 of either out means a discard can deal 4 damage. With Burning Inquiry, that's 12 damage and with Blightning, that's 11 damage. Does it work? I've been play testing this with DC (and her deck is tough to beat) and the people at R4 (it's a shop near our place) and I have to admit, it works pretty well. The only threat to this deck is that your opponent figures out what you're doing and
a. Removes your Megrims.
b. Goes Hellbent, leaving you with nothing to discard.
c. Is able to race faster than you.

If that's the case, you can always fling burn spells to their face... Unless they have Leyline of Sanctity out. Gods, I hate that card.

So, that's my post for this week, hope you enjoy it :D

Mike out~
